Two sets are said to be disjoint sets
If they have no common element in them
And so we stand, two points upon a grid,
divided by the things we never did.
Our union is the null set, empty and cold,
A story of us that will never be told.
Losing the courage I never had the nerve
Asymptoting on the curve
Existing in a domain that feels bitter and strange.
Like parallel lines in a Euclidean dream,
I am the variable change
I've calculated the limit of what I can bear
To be so close, yet never quite there.
